McNairy County News
How we rebuilt a local newspaper's website into an award-winning platform for their brand.
The challenge
McNairy County News found their old website to be lacking. Users couldn't pay for subscriptions or advertisements online, "teasers" showing what was to come in the week's paper couldn't be uploaded, and access the digital edition of the weekly newspaper was difficult to manage.
What we built
We built McNairy County News a website that gave them what they were missing: subscriptions and advertisements could now be purchased directly from the website, a custom-built teaser system was added to display upcoming entries in the paper that they wanted to highlight, and the digital edition system custom-built to make access easier to maintain.
The results
I wanted to use someone local for our IT and even though Trevor has relocated from his hometown, I still consider him local. Trevor knew our business personally and designed our website just as I requested. We wanted it to be user friendly and had some specific things that it needed to include. Our website is an award winning website through the Tennessee Press Association and the credit goes to Trevor. He is always available and can make changes as we need them. Trevor has been easy to work with and very affordable. The McNairy County News would highly recommend Trevor Mangrum and RouteLabs TN.
